Who I Am

Who I Am

My name’s Cassie Wright.

I’ve been a writer with a passion for learning ever since I was young. A few years ago, I graduated with an English degree and big dreams to write, travel, and learn.

For the most part, I’m a self-taught language learner. I continued to study on my own after 4 years of high school French classes. I’m also learning Japanese and Spanish.  I believe anyone can learn a language with the right tools and lots of persistence, which means I write about these things with a positive outlook.

In addition to my English degree, I minored in Psychology. I have a natural interest in discovering new things and an ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple manner. I’m knowledgeable in behavior modification concepts, mental health, and self-improvement. I’m also good with finance, having worked at a major investment company for 4 years.

I currently live in Massachusetts, not too far from Boston. So, whenever I don’t get a chance to really travel, I’m happy to spend time at the Museum of Science or the Aquarium or even just at a one-of-a-kind restaurant downtown. Though, I’ve still got quite a few places to cross off of my bucket list.
